Tinnitus
Relief Starts With Understanding It.
That ringing, buzzing, or hissing in your ears is real — and you don't have to just live with it.
Led by our Doctors of Audiology, right here in Prosper.
You're not alone
If tinnitus is keeping you up at night, you're far from alone
Millions of people hear a sound that isn't there — ringing, buzzing, hissing, roaring. For some it's a minor annoyance. For others it's exhausting, distracting, and genuinely hard to live with.
Here's what we want you to know: tinnitus is real, it's common, and while there's no magic switch to turn it off, there are real, proven ways to make it quieter and easier to live with. The first step is understanding exactly what's going on in your ears.
The Evaluation
A real tinnitus evaluation — not just a hearing test
Most clinics run a basic hearing test and stop there. We go further, because tinnitus has its own fingerprint and we want to measure yours.
A tinnitus evaluation with us includes:
- Pitch and loudness matching — we identify the specific characteristics of your tinnitus
- Extended high-frequency testing up to 16 kHz — this catches high-frequency hearing loss that standard hearing tests miss entirely, and it's often the missing piece in tinnitus
- A validated tinnitus questionnaire — so we can measure how it's affecting you and track your progress over time
- A consultation and a written management plan — clear next steps, in plain language
You walk out understanding your tinnitus and what your options actually are.
*Evaluation is $200, cash-pay. If you're due for a standard yearly hearing test, we'll run that first — it may be covered by your insurance — and the tinnitus-specific portion is the add-on.
Honest scope / referral
And if you need more than we offer, we'll tell you.
We believe in being straight with you. For tinnitus that masking and amplification can't fully address — or related conditions like sound sensitivity — we'll refer you to the right specialist. We'd rather point you to better help than pretend we're the answer for everything.
That's the whole idea behind warm, honest care.
What Your Diagnosis is Telling You
